410 I consider that it would be of undoubted value to proceed with a scheme for a fertiliser factory for the ongent reason given in the memorandum accompanying your despatel 8o. 136 of the 12th December, 1950. But I am not perenades that the present investigation is the best approach to Getormine the probable cost of the ocheras. I should be obliged if you would inform me as soon as possible:-

(a) whether you wish to contime to employ Brmt on

fresh terms, which would sesa to involve assosistion with Besara. Brian olmhoun and Partrera; or

(b) whether, in anticipation that feat will refuse to

provide the required information on his present salary, you consider that it would be better to nevUD sannection with him and start again with some other agency.
